A printing-fluid container (120), for lateral installation into an ink container bay (224, 240) of a printing system, comprising a printing-fluid reservoir (124) to hold a volume of printing-fluid for delivery to a print head of the printing system, the printing-fluid container (120) comprising:a substantially planar leading surface (126) to engage with an ink container bay (224, 240) of the printing system;an ink-interface (158) on a vertical axis of the substantially planar leading surface to receive a printing fluid connector (202) of the printing system;an air-interface (156) on the vertical axis of the substantially planar leading surface to receive an air connector (200) of the printing system;a latch slot (222) extending rearwardly from the substantially planar leading surface and comprising a latching surface therealong, adapted to receive a latch member (226) comprising a catch (228), and to engage with the catch (228), to releasably secure the printing-fluid container (120);and wherein the substantially planar leading surface (126) comprises an alignment pocket (152) to receive an alignment member (242);and wherein the latch slot (222) is positioned on a vertical plane that intersects the alignment pocket (152), the ink-interface (158) and the air-interface (156);wherein the printing-fluid reservoir (124) is configured to hold a volume of printing fluid and air such that the printing-fluid can flow freely within the printing-fluid reservoir (124) and the ink-interface (158) is positioned near a gravitational bottom of the printing-fluid container (120) when the container (120) is installed in an ink container bay (224, 240).
