  3. 5
The method according to any of Claims 1 to 4, further comprising:determining (S112) a channel quality of the UE (18);if the channel quality is at least a threshold quality, assigning (S124) a PRB having a first power level to the UE (18);and if the channel quality is below the threshold quality, assigning (S124) a PRB having a second power level to the UE (18), the second power level being higher than the first power level.
  4. 6
The method according to any of Claims 1 to 5, further comprising:defining (S120) a group of subframes, the group of subframes including at least two consecutive subframes;and assigning (S124) a PRB power level of one of the at least two consecutive subframes to all the subframes of the group of subframes;or further comprising: defining (S122) a group of PRBs, the group of PRBs including at least two consecutive PRBs, a size of the group of PRBs being equal to a Resource Block Group, RBG, subset size;and assigning (S124) a power level of one of the least two consecutive PRBs to the group of PRBs.
  5. 7
The method according to any of Claims 1 to 6, wherein if the cell (34) is transmitting one of a Cell-specific Reference Signal, CRS, a Primary Synchronization Signal, PSS, and a Secondary Synchronization Signal, SSS, the assigned (S124) PRB is set to a maximum power level.
  6. 8
A method for assigning Physical Resource Blocks, PRBs, to a User Equipment, UE (18), in a wireless communication network including a cluster of neighboring cells (34), the method comprising:designating (S128) one cell (34) of the cluster of neighboring cells (34) as an arbitrator;and defining (S134), by the designated (S128) one cell (34), a set of power level patterns of a plurality of PRBs for all cells (34) of the cluster of neighboring cells (34).
  7. 10
The method of one of Claims 8 or 9, further comprising assigning at least one of the plurality of PRBs to the UE (18).
  8. 11
The method of any of Claims 8 to 10, further comprising:receiving (S130) an expected cell (34) load in k succeeding Transmission Time Intervals, TTIs of the cell (34), wherein k is an integer greater than 1, and wherein defining the power level pattern includes: defining (S132) the power level pattern for the k succeeding TTIs of the cell (34).
  9. 12
The method of any of Claims 8 to 11, further comprising:allocating a first number of highest power level PRBs to a first cell (34);and allocating a second number of highest power level PRBs to a second cell (34), the first number being greater than the second number if the first cell (34) is busier than the second cell (34).
  10. 13
The method of Claim any of claims 8 to 12, further comprising:multicasting (S136) the defined power level pattern to a node serving the cell (34) of the cluster.
