    A bicycle electronic system (1; 1001) comprising:- a manual command management unit (14;1014) having a casing (1070, 1071) configured for being fixed at a handgrip of a bicycle handlebar, comprising at least one first manually actuatable switch (44;1036, 1076) and a first processor (40;1030), - a derailleur management unit (16;1016) comprising a second processor (40;1030), characterized in that the system (1;1001) comprises a first direct communication channel (18;1044, 1056) between the first processor (40;1030) and the second processor (40;1030), and wherein the first processor (40;1030), in response to the manual actuation of the at least one first switch (44;1036, 1076), emits a derailleur command signal addressed to the derailleur management unit (16;1016), and the second processor (40;1030) receives the derailleur command signal from the first processor (40;1030) through the first direct communication channel (18;1044, 1056).

    Bicycle electronic system (1001) according to any of the previous claims, wherein those provided for among the first direct communication channel (1044, 1056) and/or the second direct communication channel (1047, 1058) and/or the third direct communication channel (1045) and/or the fourth direct communication channel (1046) are wireless communication channels.

    Bicycle electronic system (1) according to any of claims, 1-6, wherein those provided for among the first direct communication channel (18) and/or the second direct communication channel (18) and/or the third direct communication channel (18) and/or the fourth direct communication channel (18) are cabled communication channels.
