Method and system for navigation

Abstract

Method and system for navigation of vehicles (100, 410, 420, 430, 440, 450, 460) with at least one first vehicle (410) and one second vehicle (420), comprising the steps: - transmitting a first current position (X1) of the first vehicle (410) from the first vehicle (410) to a server (300), - transmitting a second current position (X2) of the second vehicle (420) from the second vehicle (420) to the server (300), - determining a first route (R1) and a second route (R2) by means of the server (300), wherein the first route (R1) is determined from the first current position (X1) to a first final destination (F1) of the first vehicle (410), wherein the second route (R2) is determined from the second current position (X2) to a second final destination (F2) of the second vehicle (420), wherein a location (C) connects the first route (R1) and the second route (R2), particularly as a stop over e.g. for a passenger (201) to change from first vehicle (410) to the second vehicle (420), wherein the location (C) is included in the first route (R1) and in the second route (R2), - transmitting the first route (R1) to the first vehicle (410), and - transmitting the second route (R2) to the second vehicle (420).

  1. 1
A method for navigation of vehicles (100, 410, 420, 430, 440, 450, 460) with at least one first vehicle (410) and one second vehicle (420), comprising the steps:- transmitting a first current position (X1) of the first vehicle (410) from the first vehicle (410) to a server (300), - transmitting a second current position (X2) of the second vehicle (420) from the second vehicle (420) to the server (300), - determining a first route (R1) and a second route (R2) by means of the server (300), wherein the first route (R1) is determined from the first current position (X1) to a first final destination (F1) of the first vehicle (410), wherein the second route (R2) is determined from the second current position (X2) to a second final destination (F2) of the second vehicle (420), wherein a location (C) connects the first route (R1) and the second route (R2), particularly as a stop over e.g. for a passenger (201) to change from first vehicle (410) to the second vehicle (420), wherein the location (C) is included in the first route (R1) and in the second route (R2), - transmitting the first route (R1) to the first vehicle (410), and - transmitting the second route (R2) to the second vehicle (420).
  2. 4
The method according to one of claims 2 or 3, comprising the step:- determining the first route (R1) and the second route (R2), when the selection input (SC) is determined, and particularly when a first confirmation (ACK1) by a first driver of the first vehicle (410) and a second confirmation (ACK2) by a second driver of the second vehicle (420) are determined.
  3. 5
The method according to one of the preceding claims, comprising the steps:- outputting the location (C) as the first stopover in a first route guidance of the first route (R1), and - outputting the location (C) as the second stopover in a second route guidance of the second route (R2).
  4. 6
The method according to one of the preceding claims, comprising the step:- outputting information to the passenger (201), the information being based on the location (C), in particularly a time count value until the location (C) is reached.
  5. 7
A system for navigation of vehicles (100, 410, 420, 430, 440, 450, 460), comprising at least one first vehicle (410) and one second vehicle (420) and a server (300), connectable by means of wireless data transmission to the first vehicle (410) and the second vehicle (420), - wherein the first vehicle (410) is configured to transmit a first current position (X1) of the first vehicle (410) to the server (300), - wherein the second vehicle (420) is configured to transmit a second current position (X2) of the second vehicle (420) to the server (300), - wherein the server (300) is configured to determine a first route (R1) and a second route (R2), wherein the first route (R1) is defined from the first current position (X1) to a first final destination (F1) of the first vehicle (410), wherein the second route (R2) is defined from the second current position (X2) to a second final destination (F2) of the second vehicle (420), wherein a location (C) connects the first route (R1) and the second route (R2), particularly as a stopover e.g. for a passenger (201) to change from first vehicle (410) to the second vehicle (420), wherein the location (C) is included in the first route (R1) and in the second route (R2), - wherein the server (300) is configured to transmit the first route (R1) to the first vehicle (410) and the second route (R2) to the second vehicle (420).
