  1. 1
A computer implemented method of sharing content among multiple user devices (102A, 102B, 102C), the method comprising:accessing (702) by a server, information on physical proximity of at least two user devices (102A, 102B, 102C);determining, by the server, membership in a device group (110) of a user device (102A), comprising: identifying (704) candidate device groups (110) in the vicinity of the user device (102A) using the physical proximity information;determining a score (708) for each of the candidate device groups (110) based on previous interactions of the user device (102A) with the candidate device groups (110);selecting (712) a device group (110) based on the score;associating (714) the user device (102A) to the selected device group (110);and subscribing (716) the user device (102A) to all real time changes detected for the selected device group (110);receiving (808) content from the user device (102A) over a communication network (106);and forwarding (814) the content received from the user device (102A) over the communication network (106) to other user devices (102B, 102C) of the selected device group (110).
  2. 6
A server system comprising:at least one processor;and data storage comprising modules including instructions to be executed by the at least one processor, the modules comprising: an interface module (402) to receive a message comprising location information indicating a geographic location of at least two user devices (102A, 102B, 102C);a group ranker module (410) to determine membership in a device group (110) of a said user device (102A) by: identifying (704) candidate device groups (110) in the vicinity of the user device (102A) using the location information;determining a score (708) for each of the candidate device groups (110) based on previous interactions of the user device (102A) with the candidate device groups (110);selecting (712) a device group (110) based on the score;and associating (714) the user device (102A) to the selected device group (110);and a push/subscribe module (416) to subscribe (716) the user device (102A) to all real time changes detected for the selected device group (110);wherein the interface module (402) is adapted to receive (808) content from the user device (102A) over a communication network (106);and wherein the push/subscribe module (416) is adapted to forward (814) the content received from the user device (102A) over the communication network (106) to other user devices 102C) of the selected device group (110).
  3. 12
A computer readable medium carrying instructions that, when executed by at least one processor of a machine, cause the machine to carry out the method of any one of claims 1 to 5.
