    Mould drum (1, 61) for moulding products from a mass of food starting material, comprising one or more cavities (2) with a mould cavity wall having at least partially a porous structure, whereas each cavity is connected to a passage (8), wherein the passage extends from the first front end (3) to the second front end (3) of the mould drum, wherein it comprises a distributor (3) to supply a cleaning fluid to all passages simultaneously, which are fluidwise connected to the distributor, the distributor being integrated in the first front end (3) of the mould drum characterized in that the distributor is a ring shaped groove.

    Mould drum (1, 61) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in, that it comprises an axis of rotation, that extends from both ends (3, 4).

    Mold drum (1, 61) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in, that it comprises recognition means.

    Process for the cleaning of a mould drum (1, 61) according to one of the preceding claims in a cleaning apparatus, with supporting means (22, 42, 62) for supporting the axis (5) of the drum or the drum and with cover- and/or fastening means (23, 26, 43, 46, 63, 66), which fastens the mould drum (1 , 61) to the supporting means and/or covers one or both front ends (3, 4) of the mould drum (1 , 61 ), wherein the passages are rinsed with a cleaning fluid from the first front end (3) to the second front end (4), characterized in, that the cavity is rinsed after the passage has been cleaned by closing one front end (3, 4) so that the cleaning fluid flows through the porous structure.

    Process according to claims 5 or 6, characterized in, that the drum is cleaned from the outside by rotating nozzles
