Headset and earphone

Abstract

A headset or earphone is provided, having an electro-acoustic reproduction transducer (10) with an oscillator coil (11) arranged in an axis. An amplifier (20) is coupled to the electro-acoustic reproduction transducer (10). The headset or earphone also has a magnetic interference sensor (50) for measuring a magnetic interference field. A correction unit (40), for analyzing an output of the magnetic interference sensor and for producing a compensation signal, is coupled to the magnetic interference sensor (50). In addition, the headset or earphone also includes an adding unit (30) for adding the compensation signal to an input signal and for outputting the result to the amplifier (20).
