A turbine shroud and a method for manufacturing the turbine shroud

A turbine shroud (22) includes a body (24) having a plurality of sides (30). A first inward facing groove (40) is defined by a first side (30) of the body (24), and a first seal (46) covers the first inward facing groove (40) to define a first fluid passage (50) in the first inward facing groove (40) along the first side (30) of the body (24). A first inlet port is through the first seal (46) and in fluid communication through the first seal (46) into the first fluid passage (50). A method for forming a turbine shroud (22) includes forming an inner surface (34) and forming an outer surface (36) opposed to the inner surface (34), wherein the outer surface (36) is configured for exposure to a hot gas path. The method further includes defining a first slot (40) in the inner surface (34) and extending a first seal (46) across the first slot (40) to define a first fluid passage (50) in the first slot (40) along the inner surface (34).
