A client device, comprising: a first secure element comprising a first computer-readable medium having a payment application comprising instructions for causing the client device to initiate a financial transaction;a second secure element comprising a second computer-readable medium having a security key, a payment instrument, stored authentication data instructions for generating a secure payment information message responsive to the payment application, wherein the secure payment information message comprises the payment instrument and is encrypted in accordance with the security key.

    A method of making a contactless payment at a point of sale (POS), comprising:entering a payment application resident on a first secure element of a client device;signaling a biometric sensor of the client device to sense a biometric feature;sensing the biometric feature;generating biometric data representative of the biometric feature and sending the biometric data to a second secure element of the client device via a secure tunneling circuit;comparing the biometric data to a stored biometric signature on the second secure element, and generating a secure payment information message if the biometric data matches the stored biometric signature, the secure payment information message being secured based on a security key or keys stored on the second secure element and including a payment instrument;and transmitting the secure payment information message to a POS reader by one of NFC, infrared, Bluetooth, secure SMS, or direct secure Crypto SE to POS communication.

    A trusted service manager (TSM) server comprising a computer-readable medium containing instructions to facilitate financial transactions via SMS over a network by performing a method comprising:receiving an encrypted SMS message comprising a payment certificate and an address of a service provider (SP);decrypting the SMS message using a first stored key corresponding to a sender and determining the address of the SP;reencrypting the SMS message using a second stored key corresponding to the SP;and forwarding the reencrypted SMS message to the SP for completion of the financial transaction.
