Radiographic detector formed on scintillator

Abstract

A projection radiographic imaging apparatus includes a scintillator (130,230) and an imaging array. The imaging array includes a plurality of pixels (112,212) formed directly on a side of the scintillator. Each of the pixels includes at least one photosensor and at least one readout element.

  1. 1
A projection radiographic imaging apparatus, comprising:a scintillator;and an imaging array comprising a plurality of pixels formed directly on a side of the scintillator, each of the pixels comprising at least one photosensor and at least one readout element.
  2. 7
A method of making a radiographic imaging apparatus comprising:forming a release layer on a temporary substrate;forming an imaging array comprising a plurality of photosensors and a plurality of thin-film transistor readout elements on the release layer;bonding a scintillator to the imaging array;and activating the release layer to remove the array and bonded scintillator from the temporary substrate.
  3. 14
A radiographic imaging panel comprising:a first scintillator having a first thickness;a second scintillator having a second thickness;and an imaging array formed on the first scintillator and sandwiched between the first and second scintillators, the imaging array comprising a plurality of photosensors and a plurality of thin-film transistor readout elements.
