2D/3D video transmission apparatus
Abstract
Disclosed herein is a receiving apparatus (100) including, a video signal acquisition section (120) configured to acquire a video signal included in a digital broadcast signal, and a control section (180) configured to acquire display information regarding three-dimensional or two-dimensional display and included in both a system data area and a video data area of the digital broadcast signal in order to control the processing of video display with the video signal based on the display information. The system data area also includes information regarding the 2D/3D transition timing.
