  1. 1
A drug delivery device shaped and sized for injection in a needle ranging in size from 30 gauge to 15 gauge or in a cannula having a size from 30 gauge to 15 gauge comprising:a core including one or more drugs;and a polymeric skin at least partially, but not completely, surrounding the core, the skin comprising a first one or more polymers impermeable to the passage of at least one of the one or more drugs, wherein the device provides sustained release of the one or more drugs when exposed to a biological medium..
  2. 19
Use of a first polymer in the manufacture of a drug delivery device for injection in a method of treatment through a needle ranging in size from 30 gauge to 15 gauge or a cannula having a size from 30 gauge to 15 gauge, wherein the device comprises a core including one or more drugs;and a polymeric skin at least partially but not completely surrounding the core, the skin comprising the said first polymers, characterised in that the core comprises a matrix of the one or more drugs and a second one or more polymers and wherein at least one of the second one or more polymers is bioerodible.
