  1. 1
Claims of equivalent WO 2009045909 A2 CLAIMS What is claimed is:1. A method for terminating an enhanced random access channel (E- RACH) message in an E-RACH transmission, the method comprising: determining that a buffer is empty;triggering a transmission of scheduling information (SI) with a total enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH) buffer status (TEBS) equal to zero;determining a last hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) data transmission;and releasing a E-DCH resource allocation.
  2. 6
A method for terminating an enhanced random access channel (E- RACH) message in an E-RACH transmission, the method comprising:receiving initial scheduling information (SI) with a total enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH) buffer status (TEBS);determining that the TEBS is equal to zero;waiting until a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) buffer is empty;and releasing a E-DCH resource allocation.
  3. 8
A method for terminating an enhanced random access channel (E- RACH) message in an E-RACH transmission, the method comprising:releasing the E-RACH message during transition from cell forward access channel (CELL_FACH) state to cell dedicated channel (CELL_DCH) state.
  4. 10
A wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU), comprising:a receiver configured to receive enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH) resources on an acquisition indication channel (AICH) and an E-DCH AICH (E- AICH);and a processor configured to access the E-DCH resources in cell forward access channel (CELL-FACH) state, to receive a reconfiguration message indicating to switch to a cell dedicated channel (CELL_DCH) state, and to release the E-DCH resources based on switching to CELLJDCH state.
  5. 11
A method for terminating an enhanced random access channel (E- RACH) message in an E-RACH transmission, the method comprising:receiving an explicit E-DCH termination signal;and releasing a E-DCH resource.
  6. 14
A method for terminating an enhanced random access channel (E- RACH) message in an E-RACH transmission, the method comprising:initiating a timer in response to a trigger;and releasing resource allocation for common control channel (CCCH) when a maximum allowable transmission time for the CCCH has been reached.
  7. 23
A Node-B comprising:a processor configured to determine an end of enhanced random access channel (E-RACH) message transmission;and a transmitter connected to the processor, the transmitter configured to transmit a special value over an enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH) absolute grant channel (E-AGCH) indicating the end of transmission.
  8. 24
A method for releasing enhanced dedicated channel (E-DCH) resources while in cell forward access channel (CELL_FACH) state, the method comprising:terminating reception procedures for an enhanced dedicated channel (E- DCH) absolute grant channel (E-AGCH), an E-DCH relative grant channel (E- RGCH), and an E-DCH hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) indicator channel (E-HICH);and terminating transmission procedures for an E-DCH dedicated physical control channel (E-DPCCH) and an enhanced dedicated physical data channel (E- DPDCH);and resetting the medium access control (MAC) entity.
