    Claims of equivalent WO 2009002993 A1 CLAIMS:1. A compound of the formula B-L-A wherein B is a receptor binding ligand that binds to a target cell receptor, L is a linker that comprises one or more hydrophilic spacer linkers, and A is a diagnostic, therapeutic, or imaging agent that is desirably delivered to the cell.

    The compound of any one of claims 1 to 5 wherein at least one of the hydrophilic spacer linkers comprises at least one polyhydroxyl group.
