Abstract

A lithographic printing plate precursor includes: an aluminum support; an intermediate layer; and an image-recording layer, in this order, wherein at least one of the intermediate layer and the image-recording layer contains a compound having an amino group and a functional group capable of interacting with the aluminum support in a molecule.

    A lithographic printing plate precursor comprising:an aluminum support;an intermediate layer;and an image-recording layer, in this order, wherein at least one of the intermediate layer and the image-recording layer comprises a compound having an amino group and a functional group capable of interacting with the aluminum support in a molecule.

    A lithographic printing plate precursor comprising:an aluminum support;an intermediate layer;and an image-recording layer, in this order, wherein the intermediate layer comprises a compound having an amino group and a functional group capable of interacting' with the aluminum support in a molecule.

    The lithographic printing plate precursor as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein the functional group capable of interacting with the aluminum support is a trialkoxysilyl group, an onium group or an acid group selected from a phenolic hydroxy group, a carboxyl group, -SO 3 H, -OSO 3 H, -PO 3 H 2 , -OPO 3 H 2 , -CONHSO 2 -, -SO 2 NHSO 2 - and -COCH 2 CO- and metal salts thereof.

    The lithographic printing plate precursor as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein the compound having an amino group and a functional group capable of interacting with the aluminum support in a molecule is a compound represented by the following formula (1):wherein R represents a hydrogen atom or a group selected from an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an aryl group and a heterocyclic group, each of which may have a substituent, and X' represents an anion.

    The lithographic printing plate precursor as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the compound having an amino group and a functional group capable of interacting with the aluminum support in a molecule is a compound represented by the following formula (2):wherein W represents n-valent organic connecting group, n represents an integer of 2 or more, and X - represents an anion.

    The lithographic printing plate precursor as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the compound having an amino group and a functional group capable of interacting with the aluminum support in a molecule is a compound represented by the following formula (3):wherein W represents divalent organic connecting group, R 1 , represents an organic residue, n represents an integer of 2 or 3, and m represents a number satisfying n x m = 2.

    The lithographic printing plate precursor as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein the intermediate layer comprises a polymer having an adsorbing group to substrate, a polymerizable group and a hydrophilic group.

    The lithographic printing plate precursor as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein the image-recording layer comprises an infrared absorbing agent, a polymerization initiator and a polymerizable compound.

    The lithographic printing plate precursor as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein the image-recording layer further comprises a binder polymer.

    The lithographic printing plate precursor as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein the image-recording layer further comprises a microcapsule or a microgel.

    The lithographic printing plate precursor as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein the image-recording layer is an image-recording layer capable of forming an image by removing after imagewise exposure, an unexposed area of the image-recording layer by supplying printing ink and dampening water on a printing machine or by development after imagewise exposure, with a gum solution.
