  1. 1
A workbench for a power tool comprising:a table (130) on which the power tool is placed, a first support leg (111) having an upper end (111a) rotatably mounted on one end side of the table (130) and a lower end (111b), the first support leg (111) extending downward toward the other end side of the table from the upper end (111a) to the lower end (111b), a second support leg (113) having an upper end (113a) and a lower end (113b), the upper end (113a) being mounted on the other end side of the table (130) in such a manner as to be horizontally movable with respect to the table, the second support leg (113) extending downward toward the one end side of the table (130) from the upper end (113a) to the lower end (113b) and intersecting with the first support leg (111), a shaft (115) that rotatably connects intersections of the first and second support legs (111, 113), a handle (101) held by an user of the workbench, the handle (101) being disposed on the other end side of the table (130), wherein, when the user of the workbench raises or lowers the handle (101), the first and second support (111, 113) legs rotate on the shaft (115), so that the table (130) is moved vertically between a lower position of a predetermined height and a upper position higher than the lower position, while horizontally moving with respect to the upper end (113a) of the second support leg (113), a lock mechanism (140) that prevents the upper end (113a) of the second support leg (113) and the table (130) from moving with respect to each other in a direction to lower the table (130) when the table (130) is moved between the lower position and the upper position to lock the table (130) in the upper position, wherein the lock mechanism (140) includes a movable element (143) that moves horizontally together with the upper end (113a) of the second support leg (113), an engaging member (141) rotatably mounted on the table (130) and facing the movable element (143), an upper position engagement recess (143a) that is engaged with the engaging member (141) when the table (130) is placed in the upper position, and an elastic member (149), and a lock release member (153) that releases the table (130) locked by the lock mechanism (140), wherein the lock release member (153) includes an elongated element (153a) disposed below the upper surface of the table (130) and extending along the table (130) toward the handle (101), and the lock of the table (130) is released when the user pulls the elongated element (153a) in the longitudinal direction of the elongated element (153a), characterized in that the engagement recess (143a) is formed in the movable element (143), the lock mechanism (140) further comprises at least one intermediate position engagement recess (143a) that is formed in the movable element (143) and engaged with the engaging member (141) when the table (130) is placed in an intermediate position between the upper position and the lower position, and the elastic member (149) applies a biasing force to the engaging member (141) in the direction of engagement of the engaging member (141) with the engagement recess (143a), wherein, when the table (130) is placed in the upper or intermediate position, the engaging member (141) is rotated toward the movable element (143) by the biasing force of the elastic member (149) and is engaged with the upper position engagement recess (143a) or the intermediate position engagement recess (143a), thereby locking the upper end (113a) of the second support leg (113) and the table (130) against relative movement with respect to each other, and when the engaging member (141) is rotated away from the movable element (143) by the pulling operation of the lock release member (153), the engaging member (141) is disengaged from the upper position engagement recess (143a) or the intermediate position engagement recess (143a), thereby releasing the lock.
  2. 4
The workbench as defined in any claims 1 to 3, wherein the elongated element (153a) extends in a direction of pulling operation and a grip (153b) to be held by the user is formed on an extending end of the elongated element (153a) and extends in a direction that intersects with the extending direction of the elongated element (153a).
