  1. 1
Claims of equivalent WO 2005110299 A2 CLAIMS What is claimed is:1. A method of controlling a temperature of a body region, comprising: (a) placing an electrochemical device over said body region, said electrochemical device is a power source for an electrical device carried by a person and a heat source to said person;and (b) controlling the conducted or radiated heat generated by said electrochemical device to said body region and its subcutaneous layers.
  2. 2
The method as set forth in claim 1, further comprises sensing the temperature and further controlling said conducted or radiated temperature to said body region.
  3. 3
The method as set forth in claim 1, further comprising controlling said temperature through a control system.
  4. 4
The method as set forth in claim 3, wherein said control system is integrated in an article of clothing.
  5. 5
The method as set forth in claim 1, further comprising controlling the power to said electrical device through a control system.
  6. 6
The method as set forth in claim 5, wherein said control system is integrated in an article of clothing.
  7. 7
The method as set forth in claim 1, wherein said electrochemical device is integrated in an article of clothing.
  8. 8
The method as set forth in claim 1, wherein said electrochemical device is integrated in an article of clothing at the upper spine region of the person.
  9. 9
The method as set forth in claim 1, wherein said electrochemical device comprises two or more stiff planar fuel cell devices.
  10. 10
The method as set forth in claim 9, further comprises flexible interconnecting means for interconnecting said two or more stiff planar fuel cell devices, said flexible means allowing said stiff planar fuel cell devices to move with respect to each other out of said plane, and said flexible interconnecting means having integrated therein or therewith electrical connections and fuel connections for each of stiff planar fuel cell devices.
  11. 11
The method as set forth in claim 1, wherein said electrochemical device further comprises a heat conducting means.
