  1. 1
A liquid container in which an ink to be supplied to a liquid ejection head for ejecting a liquid droplet is contained, comprising:a first chamber which is partially connected to atmosphere and in which an absorber for absorbing a liquid is contained;a second chamber which is closed from the outside and in which said liquid is contained;a connection path, disposed in the vicinity of a bottom portion of the container, for connecting said first chamber to said second chamber;a supply port which is disposed in said first chamber, and via which the liquid is supplied to said liquid ejection head;first monitor means, disposed in said first chamber, for monitoring a liquid amount of said first chamber;and a flow rate adjustment apparatus, disposed in said connection path, for adjusting a flow rate of said connection path in accordance with information from the first monitor means.
  2. 8
A liquid ejection recording apparatus comprising:a liquid ejection head for ejecting a recording liquid droplet;and the liquid container according to any one of claims 1 to 7 in which the liquid to be supplied to the liquid ejection head is contained.
  3. 9
The liquid ejection recording apparatus wherein said liquid ejection head utilizes a film boiling caused when the heat energy is applied to the liquid to eject the liquid droplet via a nozzle.
  4. 10
A liquid container in which an ink to be supplied to a liquid ejection head for ejecting a liquid droplet is contained, the liquid container comprising:a first chamber which is partially connected to atmosphere, which is provided with a supply port for supplying liquid to said liquid ejection head, and in which an absorber for absorbing a liquid is contained;a second chamber which is closed from the outside and in which said liquid is directly contained;a communication path, disposed in the vicinity of a bottom portion of the container in a using condition of the container, for communicating said first chamber with said second chamber;a first solid semiconductor element as first monitor means, disposed in said first chamber, for monitoring a pressure fluctuation of said first chamber;a second solid semiconductor element as second monitor means, floated and disposed on a liquid surface or in the liquid, for constituting residual amount detecting means for detecting a residual amount of liquid to monitor a liquid amount of said second chamber;and a third solid semiconductor element as a flow rate adjustment apparatus, disposed in said communication path, for adjusting a flow rate of liquid flowing in said communication path in response to information from the first monitor means or the second monitor means, wherein the second solid semiconductor element as second monitor means has a hollow portion for floating on said ink surface or in a predetermined height in the ink, a gravity center of the second solid semiconductor element is positioned below a center of the element, and a metacenter of the element is constantly positioned above the gravity center of the solid semiconductor element, wherein the third solid semiconductor element as the flow rate adjustment apparatus includes: receiving means for receiving the information from said first monitor means or said second monitor means;a spherical silicon to adjust a flow rate of said liquid in accordance with received information;a first movable portion and a second movable portion supported in a cantilever manner at an interval from said spherical silicon and operated to be opened/closed in response to said information of said first semiconductor element or said second solid semiconductor element;a path for connecting the first movable portion with the second movable portion to constitute a space between said spherical silicon and the first and second movable portions;a first base electrode and a second base electrode provided to a part of surface of said spherical silicon;a first valve electrode and a second valve electrode provided respectively to said first and second movable portions so as to be opposed to said first and second base electrodes;and at least energy converting means for converting an energy applied from the outside to an energy of a type different from the type of said applied energy to operate said receiving means and said movable portions.
