Message transmission system and method

There are described herein systems and methods for providing routing information across a mobile network for at least one application. In one particular method, the routing information supplied in response to a request for information is selected based on at least one condition other than the location of the application. For example, the routing information may be selected based on a measure of the application availability or the availability of a plurality of connections between the mobile network and the application.
