EP1639936A1

Endoscopic treatment instrument, endoscopic treatment system and supporting adaptor

Abstract

In an endoscopic treatment instrument having a plurality of sheaths, a supporting member for directly and indirectly supporting the plurality of sheaths, and a connecting member for directly/indirectly bringing the sheaths and an endoscope in a connected state are provided. The supporting member constrains a relative position of the plurality of sheaths and the connecting member can change the connecting state. Therefore, when an operator changes the connecting state of the connecting member, the positional relation of the endoscope and the plurality of sheaths can be changed, while the positional relation of the plurality of sheaths is still constrained. Accordingly, for example, left and right sheaths can be easily exchanged.

  1. 1
An endoscopic treatment instrument (7) to be inserted into a body together with an endoscope insertion part (3) for carrying out a treatment for living organisms, the endoscopic treatment instrument (7) comprising:a plurality of elongated flexible sheaths (8, 9);an operating part (16, 24) provided at a proximal portion of each of the plurality of flexible elongated sheaths (8,9);and a distal end treatment unit (19, 23) provided at a distal portion of each of the plurality of flexible elongated sheaths (8, 9) for carrying out a treatment for living organisms, characterized in that the endoscopic treating instrument further comprising: a supporting member (30) for directly or indirectly supporting the plurality of flexible elongated sheaths (8, 9) disposed substantially in parallel with the endoscope insertion part (3) for constraining a relative position of the plurality of flexible elongated sheaths (8, 9);and a connecting member (31) for directly or indirectly connecting the sheaths and the endoscope insertion part;wherein arrangement of the plurality of sheaths (8, 9) with respect to the endoscope insertion part (3) can be changed by changing a connecting state of the connecting member (31).
  2. 10
The endoscopic treatment system comprising:an endoscope (1) having an endoscope insertion part (3) for carrying out a treatment for living organisms;and an endoscopic treatment instrument (7) comprising: a plurality of elongated flexible sheaths (8, 9);an operating part (16, 24) provided at a proximal portion of each of the plurality of flexible elongated sheaths (8, 9);and a distal end treatment unit (19, 23) provided at a distal portion of each of the plurality of flexible elongated sheaths for carrying out a treatment for living organisms, characterized in that the endoscopic treatment system (7) further comprising: a supporting member (30) for directly or indirectly supporting the plurality of flexible elongated sheaths (8, 9) disposed substantially in parallel with the endoscope insertion part (3) for constraining a relative position of the plurality of flexible elongated sheaths (8, 9) ;and a connecting member (31) for directly or indirectly connecting the sheaths (8, 9) and the endoscope insertion part (3);wherein arrangement of the plurality of sheaths (8, 9) with respect to the endoscope insertion part (3) can be changed by changing a connecting state of the connecting member (31), further characterized in that the endoscope insertion part (3) comprises a fixing portion (110) for engaging the connecting member.
  3. 12
A supporting adaptor (12) of an endoscopic treatment instrument, characterized in that the supporting adaptor comprising:a supporting section (30) for supporting a plurality of tubular members (8, 9) disposed substantially in parallel along an endoscope insertion part (3) for constraining a relative position of the plurality of tubular members (8, 9) ;and a connecting section (31) for connecting the plurality of tubular members (8, 9) with the endoscope insertion part (3), the connecting section (31) being capable of changing a connecting manner of the plurality of the tubular members (8, 9) to a different connecting manner by being rotated around an axis which extends substantially in parallel with a longitudinal axis of the endoscope insertion part(3).
  4. 13
A supporting adaptor (12) for a plurality of endoscopic treatment instruments, characterized in that the supporting adaptor comprising:a supporting member (30) for directly or indirectly supporting distal ends of a plurality of sheaths (8, 9) corresponding to the plurality of endoscopic treatment instruments for fixing a relative position of the distal ends of the plurality of sheaths(8, 9);and a connecting member (31) for directly or indirectly connecting the plurality of sheaths (8, 9) and a distal end of an endoscope so as to be capable of changing a connecting state;wherein an operator can change a relative position between the distal ends of the plurality of sheaths and the distal end of the endoscope by changing the connecting state of the connecting member.
