Inverter transformer

Abstract

In an inverter transformer, a primary winding and a secondary winding are wound around each of a plurality of bar-shaped magnetic cores so that the primary and the secondary windings have respective predetermined leakage inductances. The primary windings are wound in such a manner that a magnetic flux generated in one magnetic core by a current flowing through a primary winding provided around the one magnetic core is directed opposite to a magnetic flux generated in another magnetic core adjacent to the one magnetic core by a current flawing through a primary winding provided abound the adjacent magnetic core.

  1. 1
An inverter transformer which is provided in an inverter circuit to insert DC into AC, transforms a voltage inputted at a primary side and outputs the transformed voltage at a secondary side, and which comprises a plurality of winding units (51a, 51b, 51c), each of the winding units (51a, 51b, 51c) comprising a bar-shaped magnetic core (23a/23b/23c);and a primary winding (24a/24b/24c) and a secondary winding (25a/25b/25c) which are wound around the bar-shaped magnetic core (28a/28b/23c), and which have respective leakage inductances, characterized in that the primary windings (24a, 24b, 24c) are wound around respective magnetic cores (28a, 28b, 23c) in such a manner that a magnetic flux (Φ2) generated in one magnetic core (23b) by a current flowing through a primary winding (24b) provided around the one magnetic core (23b) is directed opposite to a magnetic flux (Φ1/Φ8) generated in another magnetic core (23a/23c) adjacent to the one magnetic core (23b) by a current flowing through a primary winding (24a/24c) provided around the adjacent magnetic core (23a/23c).
