  1. 1
Claims of equivalent WO 2004104162 A2 WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:1. A method of increasing tolerance of a plant to an abiotic stress, comprising expressing within the plant an exogenous polynucleotide at least 90% homologous to a polynucleotide selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs: 1- 18, thereby increasing the tolerance of the plant to the abiotic stress.
  2. 14
A method of increasing biomass of a plant, comprising expressing within the plant an exogenous polynucleotide at least 90% homologous to a polynucleotide selected from the group consisting of SEQ LD NOs:1-18, thereby increasing biomass of the plant.
  3. 25
A nucleic acid construct, comprising a polynucleotide at least 90% homologous to a nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs:1-18 and a promoter capable of directing transcription of the polynucleotide in a host cell.
  4. 34
An isolated polypeptide, comprising an amino acid sequence at least 90% homologous to the amino acid sequence encoded by a polynucleotide selected from the group consisting of SEQ LD NOs:1-18.
  5. 35
A plant cell comprising an exogenous polynucleotide at least 90% homologous to a polynucleotide selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NOs:1-18.
