Roller blind for sliding roof system
Abstract
The window blind (10) made of flexible material such as cloth or plastic film, comprises two longitudinal edges which are guided into guide rail (14). A flat spiral spring (18) extending along the longitudinal edges of the window blind, has biasing force tending to contract the flat spiral spring into spiral shape. An independent claim is also included for vehicle roof blind assembly.

The invention relates to a roller blind for a sliding roof system.
Such a blind can below an opening in a vehicle roof be attached to the opening, depending on the desire of the vehicle occupant or more less cover. If the opening is to be released, the shade is on wound a winding axis by a spring in the winding direction is acted upon. From the winding axis, the roller blind against the force of Spring can be withdrawn so that it covers the opening. Thus the blind when it is located below the opening in the vehicle roof, not in the Vehicle interior sags into it, the longitudinal edges of blinds in each case are was added a guide rail, so that it transversely to the displacement direction can be held taut.
A disadvantage of the known blind, that the force acting on the winding shaft Spring must be strong enough to wind the blind reliably, but at the same time the spring the shade when the shade by the user in a desired position was taken, must not adjust by itself. in the With regard to the aging of the spring and the various Friction conditions that may occur over the life of the blind, as well as the various spring forces at fully from the winding axis peeled Rollo one hand and almost completely wound Rollo act on the other hand, allows the two requirements only with great meet expenses.
The object of the invention is to provide a blind which with little effort can be reliably wound on the one hand, on the other hand in every position remains reliably. In addition, it is designed with a small construction and space requirements can be realized.
To achieve this object the invention provides that the blind consists of a flexible material, wherein two spiral springs are provided, extending along the longitudinal edges of the shade and into a spiral Search contract. The invention is based on the basic idea, instead of acting on the winding axle spring two spiral springs to use, which act directly on the shade itself. In this way, the part of the blind, is not located in the guide rails, automatically rolled together into a roll. In this way, acting on the part of the Blinds, which is located in the guide rails, only a very low tensile force on. In addition, the bias of the coil springs causes them within the Guide rails generate a relatively high friction. This prevents reliable, that the blind by itself shifted undesirably. On a separate blind brake can be dispensed with. Finally, there is a less space since not the rewind axle spring loading needed is, or it can be completely dispensed with the winding shaft so that the blind winds freely once it has left the guide rails.
It is preferably provided that the helical springs at the same time for guiding the blinds are used in a guide rail. In this way, the otherwise for guiding the elements used blinds, eg piping, bead or Guide rail, are omitted.
According to a preferred embodiment it is provided that the Coil springs are biased so that when they are outside the Guide rails are and no shade between them would be present, would each pull together in a spiral, the tips of each other face away. This ensures that the generated from the coil springs Roller blind winding is held transversely to the guide rails taut when is omitted a winding axis.
The invention also relates to an assembly consisting of a roller blind, at the its longitudinal edges is provided with a respective coil spring, and two Guide rails, in which the respective coil spring is accommodated, so that the blind is guided between the guide rails, wherein the part of the Coil springs, which is located outside the guide rails, together with the attached blind by itself wound into a coil. Regarding the advantages, reference is made to the above explanations.
The invention is described with reference to a preferred embodiment described, illustrated in the accompanying drawings. In these drawings:

Figure 1 is a perspective view of a vehicle roof with a Rollo invention;

Figure 2 is a schematic side view of a blind according to the invention;

3 shows a section along the plane III-III of Figure 1;

Figure 4 on an enlarged scale the detail IV of figure 2; and

Figure 5 is a schematic view of a coil spring in a state it occupies when no external forces are applied.

In Figure 1, a vehicle roof to see 5, which with an opening 7 is provided. The opening 7 is a cover 9 of a sliding roof system assigned. The lid 9 is movable between a closed position in which it closes the opening 7, and shown in Figure 1, open position be adjusted. is below the cover 9, and also below the opening 7 a roller blind 10 is disposed. The roller blind 10 can, based on the vehicle, according to be shifted front and rear. When the shade 10 is completely backwards is pushed, the opening 7 is completely released. Fresh air and Sunlight then have free access to the vehicle interior. If the blind 10 is fully pushed forward, the opening 7 is covered by the roller blind. Fresh air and sunlight can thus only to a limited extent in the Vehicle interior access.
The shade 10 is made of a flexible material such as fabric or a plastic film. At its front edge, a hoop 12 is provided to which a vehicle occupant can attack to the blind to forward or backward move. Side along the opening 7 extend two Guide rails 14, in which the two longitudinal edges of the roller blind, that is in the Vehicle longitudinal direction considered the right and the left edge of the shade 10, are added. In the area of the rear end of the opening 7 is located the rear edge of the blind on which a winding body 16 is mounted. Of the Winding body is not mounted on the roof; it can run as a plastic strip be, which is sprayed onto the trailing edge of the blind and substantially has function that the rear edge of the roller blind in a direction transverse to to keep the longitudinal direction of the vehicle clamped.
Along the longitudinal edges of the shade 10, that is in the guide rails 14 area assigned, in each case a spiral spring 18 is provided, as thin metal strip of spring plate is formed and as a guide element serves. The coil spring 18 has, when in the corresponding guide rail is received, the visible in Figure 3, curved cross-sectional shape. The Roller blind 10 is connected to the helical springs 18 only on the outer half, so from the outer edge to about the apex of the coil springs 18. This Area is denoted in Figure 3 by the reference numeral 20th The roller blind 10 can with the coil spring 18 to be particularly glued.
The guide rail 14 has generally rectangular in cross-section a Cross-section, in the interior of the spiral spring 18 together with the call mounted edge portion of the shade 10 is fixed. At the center of the vehicle side facing the guide rail has a leg 22 which between the shade 10 and directed toward the vehicle center portion of the coil spring 18 engages, so in the area in which the shade 10 is not with the coil spring is glued 18th The coil spring 18 can be characterized under the leg support to keep the blind 10 transversely stretched.
The two coil springs 18 are biased so that they automatically be roll up. Furthermore, they are so biased that they "angle" roll up try as in figure can be seen. 5 Each coil spring 18 would, if they can roll freely and no shade 10 and no bobbin 16 were present, so roll up, that a spiral is created, the free end is facing outwards, so of the other coil spring away. This ensures that the roller blind 10 between the two coil springs, if this is outside of the guide rails 14 are, is held taut.
When the shade 10 is displaced rearward to the opening 7 release, the rear portion of the curtain 10 from the guide rails 14 is pushed out. It is of the coil springs 18 automatically and alone rolled up into a roll. This is due to the bias of the Coil springs and taut because of the winding former 16th The roller blind winding abuts a wall 24 having a receiving space for the wound-up blind 10 delimits.
Since no spring is present, on the shade of the position of a exerts Blinds dependent winding force, a constant tension that results an adjustment of the shade counteracts forward. Another effect is an increase in the displacement force, so that it is self-locking receives. Thus a manually operated roller blind remains in any intermediate position are without an additional brake is necessary Rollo
When the shade 10, the guide rails 14 and exits into a roll is wound, the coil springs 18 change their cross-sectional shape of the in Figure 3 shown the first cross-sectional shape to a second cross-sectional shape in the Figure 4 is shown. The coil springs have a flat, rectangular Cross section, the height of the material thickness of the coil springs 18 corresponds. Therefore resulting in a winding having a small diameter.
