29 claims: 15 independent, 14 dependent

  1. 1
A deceleration control apparatus for an automotive vehicle, characterized by :a deceleration controlling section (25, S14, S23) that performs a deceleration control in accordance with a turning travel situation of the vehicle;and a throttle opening angle controlling section (S15, S16, S17, S24, S25) that controls an engine throttle opening angle, characterised in that the throttle opening angle controlling section controls the throttle opening angle gradually in a closure direction at a preset variation degree.
  2. 5
A deceleration control apparatus for an automotive vehicle as claimed in any one of the preceding claims 2 through 4, further comprising an accelerator manipulated variable detecting section (14) that detects a manipulated variable of an accelerator pedal, wherein the variation degree setting section (S14a) sets the variation degree in such a manner that as the manipulated variable of the accelerator pedal detected by the accelerator manipulated variable becomes larger, the variation degree becomes larger.
  3. 6
A deceleration control apparatus for an automotive vehicle as claimed in any one of the preceding claims 2 through 4, further comprising a driving force controlling section (S27) that controls an engine throttle opening angle and performs a driving force control to develop a required driving force specified, wherein the variation degree setting section (S14a) sets the variation degree in such a manner that as the require driving force becomes larger, the variation degree becomes larger.
  4. 7
A deceleration control apparatus for an automotive vehicle as claimed in any one of the preceding claims 1 through 6, wherein the throttle opening angle controlling section controls the throttle opening angle at a first variation degree (ΔAdn0) during a passage of a preset initial interval of time from a time point at which the deceleration control by means of the deceleration control section is started and, after the passage of the initial interval of time, controls the throttle opening angle at a second variation degree (ΔAcnst) smaller than the first variation degree.
  5. 10
A deceleration control apparatus for an automotive vehicle as claimed in any one of the preceding claims 1 through 9, further comprising an accelerator manipulated variable detecting section (14) that detects a manipulated variable of an accelerator pedal, wherein the throttle opening angle controlling section (S23, S24) recovers throttle opening angle to a throttle opening angle (Accbs) corresponding to the manipulated variable of the accelerator pedal detected by the accelerator manipulated variable detecting section when the deceleration control section ends the deceleration control.
  6. 11
A deceleration control apparatus for an automotive vehicle as claimed in any one of the preceding claims 1 through 9, further comprising a driving force controlling section (S27) that controls an engine throttle opening angle and performs a driving force control to develop the specified required driving force, wherein the throttle opening angle controlling section (S23, S24) recovers the throttle opening angle to a throttle opening angle (Accbs) corresponding to the required driving force.
  7. 12
A deceleration control apparatus for an automotive vehicle as claimed in either claim 10 or 11, wherein the throttle opening angle controlling section (S24) recovers the throttle opening angle at a preset variation degree (ΔAup).
  8. 15
A deceleration control apparatus for an automotive vehicle as claimed in either claim 13 or 14, wherein the deceleration control section sets a target vehicle speed (V*) in accordance with the turning travel situation of the vehicle and performs the deceleration control for a traveling speed (V) of the vehicle to be coincident with the target vehicle speed and the recovery variation degree setting section (S24n) sets the variation degree in such a manner that as an increase rate of the target vehicle speed set by the deceleration control section becomes larger, the variation degree is set to be a larger value.
  9. 16
A deceleration control apparatus for an automotive vehicle as claimed in any one of the preceding claims 1 through 15, wherein the throttle opening angle controlling section (S15, S16, S17) controls the throttle opening angle at the variation degree to a complete closure state.
  10. 17
A deceleration control apparatus for an automotive vehicle as claimed in any one of the preceding claims 1 through 15, wherein the throttle opening angle controlling section (S15, S16a, S17a) controls the throttle opening angle to a preset minimum opening angle (Accmin) at the variation degree (ΔAdn).
  11. 22
A deceleration control apparatus for an automotive vehicle as claimed in either claim 20 or 21, wherein the minimum angle setting section (S15a) sets the constant value (Accmin1) to a larger value as a shift ratio of a transmission becomes smaller.
  12. 25
A deceleration control apparatus for an automotive vehicle as claimed in either claim 23 or 24, wherein the minimum opening angle setting section (S15a) sets the minimum opening angle (Accmin) to be a larger value as a shift ratio of a transmission becomes smaller.
  13. 26
A deceleration control apparatus for an automotive vehicle as claimed in any one of the preceding claims 23 through 25, wherein the minimum opening angle setting section (S15a) sets the minimum opening angle to a complete closure state when the manipulated variable (Accbs(driver)) of the accelerator pedal is equal to or lower than a preset threshold value (ΔAccmin).
  14. 28
A deceleration control apparatus for an automotive vehicle as claimed in either claim 26 or 27, wherein the minimum opening angle setting section (S15a) sets the threshold value (ΔAccmin) to be a larger value as a shift ratio of a transmission becomes larger.
  15. 29
A deceleration control method for an automotive vehicle, characterized by :performing (25, S14, S23) a deceleration control in accordance with a turning travel situation of the vehicle;and controlling (S15, S16, S17, S24, S25) an engine throttle opening angle gradually in a closure direction at a preset variation degree.
