33 claims: 5 independent, 28 dependent

  1. 1
An ex vivo method of inducing apoptosis in a cancer cell, the method comprising contacting the cell with:i. an anti-Death Receptor 5 (DR5) antibody;and ii. an apoptosis-inducing agent, wherein the anti-DR5 antibody comprises a heavy chain variable region comprising the sequence recited in SEQ ID NO: 6 and a light chain variable region as recited SEQ ID NO: 8.
  2. 10
Use of an anti-DR5 antibody in the manufacture of a medicament for inducing apoptosis in a cancer cell, wherein the anti-DR5 antibody is prepared to be co-administered with an apoptosis-inducing agent and, wherein the anti-DR5 antibody comprises a heavy chain variable region comprising the sequence, recited in SEQ ID NO:6 and a light chain variable region as recited in SEQ ID NO: 8.
  3. 13
The use of claim 13, wherein the antibody is a humanized antibody
  4. 21
A physiological composition comprising, a therapeutically effective amount of i. an anti-DR5 antibody; and ii. an apoptosis-inducing agent, wherein the anti-DR5 antibody comprises a heavy chain variable region comprising the sequence recited in SEQ ID NO:6 and a light chain variable region as recited in SEQ ID NO: 8.
  5. 28
An anti-DR5 antibody comprising a heavy chain variable region comprising the sequence recited in SEQ ID NO:6 and a light chain variable region as recited in SEQ lD NO: 8.
  6. 33
An ex vivo method of inducing apoptosis in a cancer cell, the method comprising contacting the cell with an anti-DR5 antibody comprising a heavy chain variable region comprising the sequence recited in SEQ ID NO:6 and a light chain variable region as recited in SEQ ID 8.
