Print data for a mailbox print instruction given by a client PC is stored in a hard disk. Based the retrieved identification information, the user is authenticated. Then, it is determined whether a mailbox print operation is requested in the personal information table. When requested, it is determined whether the print data of the user is stored in the hard disk. When stored, the print data is printed out through the printer.
