Method for producing electricity and heat

Abstract

The invention relates to a novel method for generating electrical energy and heat in a device comprising a high-temperature fuel cell and a gas turbine, wherein the gas turbine operates with a combustion chamber under ambient pressure. This has the advantage that the fuel cell does not have to be designed pressure-resistant. The gas turbine therefore relaxes the gas supplied to it into a negative pressure, while the compressor sucks in this negative pressure gas and compressed back to ambient pressure. Under ambient pressure slightly higher pressures up to about 2 bar are also included compared to the ambient pressure. A turbine downstream recuperator transfers the heat of the exhaust gas of the turbine to the supply air supplied to the fuel cell, which is sufficiently preheated.
