Resolver/digital converter and control apparatus using the same

Abstract

This resolver/digital converter has a resolver (5), a resolver/digital converting portion (2) and an exciting signal generator (3). The exciting signal generated from the exciting signal generator (3) is supplied to the resolver (5), and the resolver signals produced from the resolver (5) are supplied to the resolver/digital converter (2). This resolver/digital converter further has a conversion trigger generator (4) that generates a conversion trigger signal on the basis of the exciting signal generated from the exciting signal generator (3), an A/D converter (11) that converts the resolver signals produced from the resolver (5) to digital values in response to the conversion trigger signal generated from the conversion trigger generator (4), and computing means (12) that detects the failure status on the basis of the digital values produced from the A/D converter (11).

  1. 1
A resolver/digital converter comprising:a resolver (5);a resolver/digital converting portion (2) that receives resolver signals produced from said resolver;an exciting signal generator (3) that generates an exciting signal and supplies said exciting signal to said resolver;a conversion trigger generator (4) that generates a conversion trigger according to said exciting signal;an A/D converter (11) that converts said resolver signals to digital values in response to said conversion trigger;and a computing portion (12) that detects a failure by using the output from said A/D converter.
  2. 10
A resolver/digital converter comprising:a resolver (5);a resolver/digital converting portion (2) that receives resolver signals produced from said resolver (5);an exciting signal generator (3) that generates an exciting signal and supplies said exciting signal to said resolver;a conversion trigger generator (4) that generates a conversion trigger according to said exciting signal;a microcomputer (1) that receives an estimated angle produced from said resolver/digital converting portion (2);an A/D converter (11) that is provided within said microcomputer, and that converts said resolver signals to digital values in response to said conversion trigger;and a computing portion (12) that is provided within said microcomputer and that detects a failure from the output of said A/D converter.
  3. 19
A control apparatus having at leas two or more subsystems, each of said subsystems comprising:controllers (100) that produce control signals (110) and diagnosis results (111);reliability order judging portions (400) that produce ON/OFF signals (410) on the basis of said diagnosis results produced from said controllers of said plurality of subsystems;and actuators (200) that affect a controlled object on the basis of said control signals and said ON/OFF signals, said diagnosis results including a minor or serious failure of said controllers, said reliability order judging portions being constructed to produce said ON/OFF signals for making the operation of said actuators effective when said failure of said controllers of the subsystem of interest is minor as compared with that of the other subsystem, and to produce said ON/OFF signals for making the operation of said actuators ineffective when the failure of the controllers of the subsystem of interest is serious as compared with that of the other subsystem.
