Ride-share system
Abstract

0001The present invention relates to a validation device of usual routes, covoiturés between a conductor and one or more passengers.
0002Carpooling, defined as a means of transport based on the principle of sharing, between several travelers, use of the passenger vehicle of one of them, the driver to perform a shared journey, often the result of an agreement more or less formal, signed between the so-called travelers. The application of the terms of the said agreement, especially economic, rarely uses the intervention of a third party.
0003Yet the management of economic sharing, corresponding to the share using the car driver, can bring more flexibility in the use of carpooling Now a fair distribution of spending by travelers regardless occurrences shared their trips or even during these trips, whoever the driver. Such management, operated by a third party, hereinafter designated operator can thus provide a useful service to travelers. This management implies that the operator detects and validates the occurrence of the path traveled by car, as well as the identity of the passenger and conductor making up the crew said during the trip. The solutions envisaged in the literature to make such management generally result of a compromise between on the one hand the reliability of detection and validation process used and on the other hand, the costs of establish communication using this detection and validation or constraints practices that are necessary to the traveler in the statements he made to the operator of its covoiturés trips.
0004The present invention is to detect and validate the occurrence and composition the crew of a journey traveled by car, deterministically, without necessarily cause the establishment of telephone communications, and requesting from travelers as basic actions taken with their mobile telephone terminal, preferably during the course or at the end of the journey traveled by car.
0005The device of the invention is a compound information system:<ul><li>a relational database, denoted BDR</li><li>a private branch exchange, PBX noted a connection to the PSTN, said the PBX associated with a recording memory of received calls, recorded in March</li></ul>
0006In a first embodiment of the device according to the invention, said "without need to establish telephone communications ", the PBX is provided with a control SCX noted that, when said command is activated, blocks dropping of calls received when the telephone signaling associated with said call this number telephone caller.
0007Figure 1 gives an example of relations between the elements of the list Vk = 1, ..., N N Travelers stored in RDB, where N is the number of travelers whose operator manages the carpool activity. Each traveler Vk is characterized by the BDR:<ul><li>a boolean I (V attributek), Whose value is "true" if the mobile telephone terminal traveler has his number by calling the telephone signaling associated with calls from the said terminal, and whose value is 'false' otherwise</li><li>an alpha-numeric attribute A (Vk) As an identifier of V travelerk and whose value is the calling number of the mobile telephone terminal VkIf I (Vk) = "True", or corresponds to an identification code of VkIf I (Vk) = "False".</li></ul>
0008Each traveler Vk potentially conductor Ck or passenger Pk, Indeterminacy corresponding being lifted for a given journey. The list Vk = 1, ..., N thus decouples A list Ck = 1, ..., N potential drivers and a list Pk = 1, ..., N potential passages. The existence of a relationship between two V travelersk and VI, Denoted R (k, l) results in Figure 1 by a bond between Ck and Pl. This relationship means that when Vk is conducting and that VI is transient, then Vl passenger is a potential Vk. For example, Figure 1 is R (5,3).
0009At the relationship R (k, l), stored in the RDB, is associated a pair of integer values, denoted (A (k), b (I)) where:<ul><li>a (k) is the rank of passenger Pl in the list of potential passenger Ck, orderly in the direction of increasing indices of the list elements of Ck = 1, ..., N</li><li>b (I) is the rank of conductor Ck in the list of potential drivers of Pl, orderly in the direction of increasing the index list items Pk = 1, ..., N.</li></ul>Thus, for example, to the relationship R (5.3) is associated with the pair (3,2) for P3 holds the rank has (5) = 3 in the ordered list of potential passenger C5 and C5 holds the rank b (3) = 2 in the ordered list of potential drivers P3.
0010The PBX is configured to receive the telephone calls of passengers on a first list of recorded telephone numbers num_passagers = 1, ..., smaxWhere smax is the number maximum conductor in potential relationships with one passenger. when passenger PI makes a journey traveled by car with a driver Ck, Consistent with the existence the relation R (k, l) in the BDR, he calls from his mobile telephone terminal the num_passager numbers where s = b (I). If I (VI) = "True" and if the SCX control is activated, then the PBX does not answer the call of the passenger PI who hangs up after hearing a or two waiting ringtones. If I (VI) = "False" or the SCX control is not activated or although the PBX does not have control of the SCX, then the PBX answers and a device such as eg a server speech invites the passenger to communicate its identifier A (VI). In all cases, the PBX registers in the memory the March time-stamped information related to the call of the passenger, ie the number called num_passagersThe caller ID A (VI) And time of the call, noted HMNp. The operator's information system derived from information contained in this recording that:<ul><li>V travelerI made a trip by car in an hour HMNp,</li><li>for this trip he was a passenger,</li><li>if there is a relation R (k, l) in the BDR, such that the index s of the number called num_passagers equals b (I), while his driver was Vk,</li></ul>thus constituting a first level detecting and validating a path traveled by car between VIand Vk.
0011In a second embodiment of the device according to the invention, said "control cross ", the PBX is configured to receive phone calls drivers on a second list of recorded telephone numbers num_conducteurt = 1, ..., t max, or t max is the maximum number of potential relationships with one passenger driver. Whenever a driver Ck takes his car a passenger PI, consistent with the existence of the relation R (k, l) in the BDR, he calls from his mobile telephone terminal the number num_conducteurt where t = a (k). Pleasek) = "True" and if the SCX control is activated, then the PBX does not answer the call of the driver Ck who hang up after hearing one or two waiting ringtones. If I (Vk) = "False" or that SCX control is not activated or that the PBX does not have the command SCX, then the PBX answers and a device such as for example a speech server invites the driver to communicate its identifier A (Vk). In all cases, the PBX stored in memory Tues-stamped information for the call driver related to the called number num_conducteurtThe Caller ID: A (Vk) and HMNc time of the call. The operator's information system derived from information contained in this recording that:<ul><li>V travelerk made a trip by car in an hour HMNc,</li><li>for this trip it was driver</li><li>if there is a relation R (k, l) in the BDR, such that the index t of the called number num_conducteurt is equal to a (k), then one of its passengers was Vl,</li></ul>thus constituting, by overlapping with the first level detection and validation, an additional level of validation of the path traveled by car between VI and Vk.
