9 claims: 1 independent, 8 dependent

  1. 1
A vehicle driving force control apparatus comprising:a main drive source (2) configured and arranged to drive a main drive wheel (1 L or 1R);an electric generator (7) configured and arranged to be driven by the main drive source (2);an electric motor (4) configured and arranged to drive a subordinate drive wheel (3L or 3R) from electric power generated by the electric generator (7);a main drive source output torque suppressing section (step S700) configured to suppress the output torque of the main drive source (2), characterized in that the main drive source output torque suppressing section (step S700) is configured to suppress the output torque of the main drive source (2) such that a degree of acceleration slippage of the main drive wheel (1 L or 1 R) is matched to a preset target slippage degree when the main drive wheel (1 L or 1 R) undergo acceleration slippage;an acceleration slippage degree revising section (8J) configured to adjust the target slippage degree by performing at least one of decreasing the target slip degree as vehicle speed increases, ant increasing the target slippage degree upon determining that the vehicle is attempting to accelerate from a stopped condition.
  2. 8
A vehicle drive force control apparatus according to one of the claims 5 to 7, characterized by a drive state determining section (8K) is configured to determine that the vehicle is attempting to accelerate from a stopped condition when the vehicle is moving at an extremely low speed that is below a prescribed speed at which the vehicle can be assumed to have escaped from a stuck condition.
  3. 9
A vehicle drive force control apparatus according to one of the claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the electric generator (7) is configured to generate electricity in accordance with an amount of acceleration slippage of the main drive wheel at least when the vehicle is accelerating from a substantially stopped condition.
