  1. 1
A method of flowably dispensing production batches of dry powders from a hopper (25) having a dispensing port (25p) and a dry powder flow path, comprising:generating a first non-linear vibration input signal, the first non-linear input signal comprising a plurality of different selected frequencies that are derived from flow characteristic frequencies identified in a flow analysis of a dry powder being dispensed;applying the first non-linear vibration input signal to a dispensing hopper (25) having at least one dispensing port (25p) while the first dry powder formulation is flowing therethrough so that the non-linear input signal vibrates the powder in a flow path that extends to the dispensing port to facilitate fluidic flow of the dry powder;and serially dispensing meted quantities of the first dry powder through the dispensing port (25p) to at least one receiving member.
  2. 29
A computer program product for operating a flowing dry powder processing and/or filling dispensing system having an associated dry powder flow path with a dispensing port and a vibration energy source associated therewith to facilitate fluidic flow, the computer program product comprising:a computer readable storage medium having computer readable program code embodied in said medium, said computer-readable program code comprising: computer readable program code that identifies a plurality of powder-specific vibration energy signals, each powder specific signal corresponding to individually predetermined flow property data of the plurality of dry powders;and computer readable program code that directs the filling dispensing system to operate using the powder-specific vibration energy signal associated with a target dry powder to facilitate fluidic flow in a production system.
  3. 39
A system of flowably dispensing production batches of dry powders from a hopper (25) having a dispensing port (25p) and a dry powder flow path, comprising:means for generating a first non-linear vibration input signal, the first non-linear input signal comprising a plurality of different selected frequencies that are derived from flow characteristic frequencies identified in a flow analysis of a dry powder being dispensed;means for applying the first non-linear vibration input signal to a dispensing hopper (25) having at least one dispensing port (25p) while the first dry powder formulation is flowing therethrough to vibrate the dry powder being dispensed as the dry powder flows through the hopper (25) and out the dispensing port (25p) to facilitate fluidic flow;and means for dispensing a first meted quantity of the first dry powder to a receiving member.
