Gas pressure regulator

Abstract

The invention relates to a gas pressure regulator, in which in a housing (1) a first control stage (R1) and one of the first control stage (R1) downstream downstream second control stage (R2) are added, wherein the first (R1) and the second control stage (R2 ) are connected to each other via a closable opening (9). To improve the safety of the gas pressure regulator, the invention proposes that the second control stage (R2) has a gas shortage securing device (13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18) with a manually operable actuating means (16, 18), by means of which at a pressure drop in the second control stage (R2) below a predetermined minimum value of the opening (9) is automatically closed such that a control operation only after manual actuation of the actuating means (16, 18) is possible.
