6 claims: 3 independent, 3 dependent

  1. 1
A method of measuring a relative dielectric constant of a powder, characterized by the steps of:providing a mixed substance (18) comprising the powder and a liquid medium at a predetermined volume ratio of liquid and powder wherein the liquid medium comprises a mixture of a first liquid and a second liquid, measuring a relative dielectric constant of said mixed substance (18), changing gradually the relative dielectric constant of the liquid medium at the same volume ratio of liquid and powder and calculating the relative dielectric constant of the mixed substance (18) with respect to the relative dielectric constant of the liquid medium, wherein the relative dielectric constant of the liquid medium is changed by changing the mixing ratio of the first and the second liquid, and determining the relative dielectric constant of the mixed substance (18) or a relative dielectric constant of the liquid medium as the relative dielectric constant of the powder when the relative dielectric constant of the mixed substance (18) becomes equal to the relative dielectric constant of the liquid medium.
  2. 4
A method of measuring a relative dielectric constant of a powder according to any of claims 1 to 3, wherein the mixed substance (18) contains the first and the second liquid, a powder dielectric substance, and a dispersing agent.
  3. 5
A method of measuring a relative dielectric constant of a powder, according to any of the claims 1 to 4, wherein the relative dielectric constant of the liquid medium is 0.5 times or more the relative dielectric constant of said powder.
  4. 6
A method of measuring a relative dielectric constant of a powder according to any of claims 1 to 5, wherein the relative dielectric constant of the liquid medium is 0.5 times to 2.0 times the relative dielectric constant of said powder.
