Embodiments of the invention provide an apparatus for supporting a computer monitor (105). The apparatus comprises a computer monitor base (100) that includes a bottom portion (110) for placement on a surface, a link (125) coupled to the bottom portion (110), and a monitor support member (130) coupled to the link (125). A tilt angle (TA) of the monitor support member (130) is dependent on an adjustable height (H) of the link (125).
