Assembly and method for attaching a liner to a pump module

Methods and apparatus for securing a cylinder liner (114) to a pump module (105) are disclosed. A tension body (116) is disposed about the cylinder liner (114) and attached to the pump module (105). A locking body (118) engages the cylinder liner (114) and is threaded to the tension body (116). A hydraulic load cell (110) is removably attached to the tension body (116) and includes a hydraulic ram (140) arranged to impart a compressive load to the cylinder liner (114) and a tension load in the tension body (116). The locking body (118) can be adjusted axially to contact the cylinder liner (114) and maintain the applied loads, which act as a pre-load to keep the cylinder liner (114) in contact with the pump module (105).
