The invention provides a cost-effective all-round scanner for the three-dimensional detection of objects and in particular for detecting ear impressions for the production of hearing aids to be created. For this purpose, the invention proposes to project a pattern onto the object positioned on a turntable (10) by means of a projector (12) and to generate an object image by means of a camera (13) in which images of coded markings (14) are present, which allow a clear assignment of the position of the object with respect to the projector (12) and the camera (13). By the markings an exact synchronization of the rotational movement of the object with the recording of the object images is not required. When recording the turntable is rotated and its axis of rotation (20) is pivoted about a further axis (19).
