The present invention relates to a device for applying a product, especially a product of coloring or lightening, on roving hair.
To apply the products on strands of hair, it is common to isolate in a first step, the strands of hair before applying thereto a product. Currently are various techniques used to isolate the wicks hair.
According to a first method, a perforated cap is placed on the head of the consumer. Using a tool having one end configured as a hook, the locks opposite perforations, is extracted from the cap. The product is then uniformly applied to these bits, including using a brush. After a suitable time raises the cap is removed. The action of the dye product is then neutralized with a shampoo. A Such a method is described for example in US-A-4 961 439. The disadvantages of this method are numerous: it is painful for consuming when the locks were removed from the cap and when the cap is removed; it is long and tedious to implement.
According to another method, the bit is placed on a pallet. The product is applied to the wick by means of a brush. The locks were left to the air free and separated from the rest of the hair by cotton wicks placed the hairline. After adequate time, the hair is washed conventional manner. Again, the method is time consuming and tedious.
It is also known to use combs for separating strands Hair of the remains of a hair. Patents US 4,993,438, US 5,152,306 or US 5,694,953 describe such combs to isolate locks of hair. However, all of these devices require maintain remote in one hand bits and apply the product with the other hand which is not very convenient.
US patent 4,516,591 describes a comb to apply the product that has a row of teeth spaced apart in pairs of the same constant spacing throughout the row.
There is a need to further facilitate realization of dyed locks or clouds, one person in particular.
There is also a need to be able to color or lighten wicks in a reproducible manner on the whole hair.
There is still a need to be able to color or lighten wicks relatively quickly.
The invention relates to a device for applying a fluid on a hair including:<ul><li>a product tank;</li><li>a comb comprising at least two groups of teeth comprising each at least two teeth, the spacing between the two groups being greater than the spacing between at least two adjacent teeth of each of the groups, each group of teeth being supplied with product via at least one outlet of the product communicating with the interior of the tank, the space between two groups being essentially free of teeth or having reliefs whose average length is less than the average length of teeth groups of teeth.</li></ul>
In particular, if a line is drawn passing through the free ends of each teeth, the free ends of the projections are set back from this line.
Only groups of teeth can be supplied with product, reliefs serving only to comb the hair.
Treatment, including the coloration of these strands, is facilitated, since the product is applied to locks of hair in one gesture.
In addition, the invention makes available a product application device on relatively inexpensive to make wicks, marketed with a container containing a dose of product for application to a hair, the device being accompanied by a plurality of containers in the form of charging.
In addition, the tooth groups being sufficiently separated, the user can perfectly identify the parts of the comb that allow to apply the product and therefore can easily place the comb on her hair so stain or discolor the locks he wants.
The spacing between the two groups can be greater than the spacing between two end teeth of a group.
The product outlet port may be located between two teeth of a same group, preferably at the base of a tooth. Alternatively, the teeth may be hollow and the orifice may be formed at one end of the tooth or between the base and tip of the tooth. Preferably, there is provided an outlet of the product between each tooth of the same group.
The teeth have ends which can be located substantially on a concave line outwards, preferably having a curvature substantially matching that of the skull.
The comb can be removably secured on the container, including screwing. one comb can thus be reused in a new bottle under form of charging.
The container may comprise a longitudinal axis X parallel to a plane containing teeth and form a comb handle.
The container may include elastically deformable walls. this facilitates as well as product application the user simply pressing more or less hard on the walls of the bottle to dispense the product.
The container can contain a cosmetic product. The product may be a product capillary, in particular a coloring product or discoloration.
The invention consists, apart from the arrangements explained above, in a number of other provisions which will be explained below, about of nonlimiting exemplary embodiments described with reference to Figures accompanying drawings wherein:<ul><li>1 illustrates a perspective view of an application device according to the invention;</li><li>2 shows the section II-II of the application device shown in figure 1 ;</li><li>3 illustrates the applicator device of Figure 1 being use; and</li><li>Figures 4 and 5 show variants of the application device according to the invention.</li></ul>
The device shown in Figures 1 to 3 is intended to apply a product capillary on strands of hair, particularly a coloring product or discoloration. The device 10 comprises a reservoir 20 of which is fixed comb 30.
Product tank 20 is in bottle form having an axis longitudinal X. The vial 20 includes a body 21 with flexible walls topped a neck 22 defining an opening 23. The neck 22 is threaded on its surface external to cooperate with a complementary thread provided on the comb so as to fix the comb on the bottle.
The bottle 20 contains the product to be applied. It also serves as handle for the comb. It therefore preferably has an ergonomic shape which allows it to be easily held in one hand.
The comb 30 includes a support 31 having a generally elongated shape, with a slight curvature formed in a plane P. The comb includes a row of teeth 32 extending from the concave side of the support 31 and which are contained in the plane P. According to a variant not shown, can be provided that the comb comprises two or more rows of teeth, different rows being contained in planes parallel to plane P.
The support 31 comprises a first end intended to be fixed on the bottle by means of a ring 33, and a distal end opposite the first. The ring 33 is provided with a thread 34 on its inner surface to cooperate with the threaded neck of the bottle to secure the comb on the bottle.
To further improve the ergonomics of the device, the support 31 may include a bend 31a between the ring 33 and the portion of the support from which extending teeth, as represented in Figure 4.
The bracket 31 is crossed by a channel 35 which opens on the one hand, at the level of the fixing ring 33 so as to communicate with the inside of the bottle and, secondly, near the teeth 32, through openings 36, to power teeth product.
In the example shown, the row of teeth is formed of three groups 37 four teeth 32, distributed along the support 31. The holes 36 of the output product are located between two consecutive teeth 32 of the same group 37, in near the base of each tooth. Alternatively, one may provide that each group 37 is provided with only a single orifice 36. The orifice 36 is then located by example between the two central teeth of the group.
The teeth 32 of each group 37 are, in this example, each substantially straight longitudinal axis. These teeth 32 have, when are observed in the plane P containing the row of teeth, the sides opposed 32a and 32b substantially parallel or converging slightly towards the free end 32c corresponding teeth.
All the teeth 32 having substantially the same length, their 32c free ends situated substantially along a line A parallel to the support 31, the line being concave outwardly curvature matching that the skull.
In the illustrated example, two groups of teeth 37 are separated by a first space e1, Measured between two adjacent teeth 32, that is to say a row, belonging respectively to two adjacent groups 37. This email space1 East free of terrain. Furthermore, no outlet port is provided in this space, ie between the two groups of teeth.
Within a same group 37, two adjacent teeth 32 are separated by a e second space2.
The spacing e1 between two groups of teeth 37 is greater than the spacing e2between two adjacent teeth of the same group, and preferably, greater than the spacing e3 between two end teeth 37 of the same group.
The spacing e1 between two groups of 37 teeth is selected according to the width that is desired between two locks, as well as possibly the kind of hair.
37 groups of teeth being sufficiently separated, the user can perfectly identify the parts of the comb that allow to apply the product and therefore can easily place the comb on her hair so stain or discolor the locks he wants.
The device 10 may be used as follows, with a product, example to lighten or color the hair.
The user can start combing the hair to smooth it through 32 teeth of the comb, without pressing the walls of the bottle. It may then reapply the comb as shown in Figure 3, by setting a Group of 37 given teeth, for example the one located at the distal end of comb in a way marked on the head.
It can then move the device from the hairline to the tip by pressing simultaneously on the walls of the bottle so as to bring out the produced by the apertures 36 located between the teeth 32 of the same group of teeth to apply on the hair strands located between the teeth end of a group of teeth.
According to the example, the user performs three strands simultaneously. The process can be repeated by shifting the comb so as to apply the product on other locks, the user can identify himself with respect to a wick already processed. This can allow for example to treat one of the left and right sides right in the same manner as the other side.
In a variant shown in Figure 5, the comb comprises reliefs 39 between two groups of 37 consecutive teeth. The reliefs eg same shape of teeth as the teeth 32, but they are smaller, their 39a ends being recessed relative to the ends 32c of the teeth 32. These teeth 39 have the sole function of combing the hair, no hole being provided for supplying these teeth 39 in the product so that the comb can not apply the product on hair strands adequately spaced. The spacing between two adjacent teeth 39 can be identical to the spacing between two adjacent teeth 32, or may be different, the teeth 39 can be spaced apart more than 32 teeth like in the example illustrated in Figure 5.
Again, the user can fully identify the parts of the comb possible to apply the product and therefore can easily position the comb on her hair so as to color or discolor the locks he wants.
Of course, the invention is not limited to the examples which have just been described.
Teeth may present particular forms other than illustrated in particular include projections for hanging more the hair.
Similarly, the spacing between the teeth of the same group may be constant but it is not beyond the scope of the present invention when the gap varies as one moves along the support.
Throughout the specification, including the claims, the term "Comprising a" should be understood as meaning "comprising at least one ", unless otherwise specified.
