Method and device for transmitting data according to a hybrid ARQ method
Abstract
In order to achieve greater flexibility in a data transmission according to a hybrid ARQ method, preferably when used in a mobile radio system, it is provided to divide a channel-coded bit stream into at least a first bit stream (A) and a second bit stream (B, C), wherein these parallel bit streams (AC) each subjected to a separate bit rate adaptation and the resulting bits of the individual bit streams (AC) are finally combined again to be transmitted in a data packet or a receiver side requested repetition data packet.
