13 claims: 11 independent, 2 dependent

  1. 1
A fuel cell collector structure, comprising:a single cell (1) which is formed by sandwiching a plate-shaped solid electrolyte (3) between a fuel electrode (4) and an air electrode (2);a collector (6) which is provided at a position adjacent to the single cell (1);and a separator (9) which is provided at the position adjacent to the collector (6), wherein the collector (6) is made of a porous electric conductor having a plurality of apertures on a surface, the single cell (1) and/or the separator (9) has a plurality of electrically conductive projections (5) on the surface, and the projections (5) intrude into the apertures to come into contact with the collector (6).
  2. 3
A fuel cell collector structure according to claims 1 or 2, wherein the projection (5) is needle-shaped or columnar.
  3. 4
A fuel cell collector structure according to claims 1 or 2, wherein a leading end portion of the projection (5) is thicker than a portion of the projection (5) which is adjacent to the single cell (1) or the separator (9).
  4. 5
A fuel cell collector structure according to any of claims 1 through 4, wherein the projection (5) has at least one inflection point.
  5. 6
A fuel cell collector structure according to any of claims 1 through 5, wherein the projection (5) is formed by simultaneously baking an electrically conductive projection material and an electrode material.
  6. 7
A fuel cell collector structure according to any of claims 1 through 5, wherein the projection (5) is formed by plating.
  7. 8
A fuel cell collector structure according to any of claims 1 through 7, wherein the porous electric conductor is made of a metal thin wire.
  8. 10
A fuel cell collector structure according to claims 8 or 9, wherein the porous electric conductor is formed by joining the plurality of metal thin wires made of different materials.
  9. 11
A fuel cell collector structure according to any of claims 1 through 7, wherein the porous electric conductor is made of foam metal.
  10. 12
A fuel cell collector structure according to any of claims 1 through 12, wherein the porous electric conductor and/or the projection (5) is coated with at least one material selected from the group consisting of an alloy including a material forming the porous electric conductor or the projection (5), a material different from the material forming the porous electric conductor or the projection (5), and electrically conductive ceramics.
  11. 13
A solid oxide fuel cell stack, comprising:a fuel cell collector structure including a single cell (1) which is formed by sandwiching a plate-shaped solid electrolyte (3) between a fuel electrode (4) and an air electrode (2), a collector (6) which is provided at a position adjacent to the single cell (1), and a separator (9) which is provided at the position adjacent to the collector (6), wherein the collector (6) is made of a porous electric conductor having a plurality of apertures on a surface, the single cell (1) and/or the separator (9) has a plurality of electrically conductive projections (5) on the surface, and the projections (5) intrude into the apertures to come into contact with the collector (6).
