Household appliance, particularly a refrigeration apparatus, with a control system using sensor means based on RFID technology

A household appliance (10) comprises an electronic control system (SC) equipped with transponder reader means (12) and detector means of one or more physical quantities. Detector means include one or more sensor devices (TS, TS'), free of wiring and own supply, each having at least one sensitive element for detecting the value of a determined physical quantity typical of the apparatus (10) and/or useful for the control thereof, and an electronic control circuit which, by implementing the functions proper of a transponder, is able to obtain its own supply voltage by drawing energy from the electromagnetic field generated by the radiofrequency communication signal irradiated through the reader means (12). The electronic control circuit of the sensor devices (TS, TS') is designed for sending to said reader means (12), in the presence of said radiofrequency communication signal, data being representative of detections performed through the respective sensitive element.
