Audio and video decoding method and device, video driver circuit

Abstract

A method of decoding one or more streams of audio data and one or more streams of video data obtained from one or more respective sources, comprises the steps of:a) loading portions of said audio data stream and portions of said video data stream into a set of buffers (70);b) providing, from said buffers, audio data and video data input from at least one audio decoder (130) and at least one video decoder (131), respectively;c) decoding said video data and said audio data using said audio decoder and said video decoder, respectively.
