One or more of the markers may be automatically placed by the system and may be automatically sequenced. The data may be centrally analysed and reviewed

    An apparatus configured to facilitate graphical interaction with time series data presented on a display, said apparatus comprising:A. a graphics module configured to render on the display a graph representation of the time series date wherein at least a portion of the graph representation includes a grid background, B. a marking module configured to generate and display on the graph one or more markers in response to a unser input, and C. a correlation module configured to correlate with a marker a subset of the time series data represented at a graphical position of the marker.

    A method of marking time-series medical data graphically displayed in the form of a trace embodying a set of features, the method comprising the steps of:A. generating and displaying in relation to the trace at least one first marker related to a trace feature, comprising the steps of: 1) analyzing the medical data represented by the trace;2) extracting features of the medical data in response to the analysis of the medical data;and 3) generating and displaying the at least one first marker representing at least one of the extracted features;and B. automatically generating and displaying at least one subsequent marker corresponding to at least one other trace feature related to the at least one first marked trace feature.

    An apparatus for marking time-series medical data graphically displayed in the form of a trace, comprising:a controller configured to place at least one first marker in relation to the trace, the at least one first marker corresponding to a trace feature and the controller further configured to automatically generate and display at least on other marker corresponding to at least one other trace feature related to the first marked trace feature.

    A method of marking time-series medical data that is graphically displayed in the form of a set of traces, each trace embodying a set of features, the method comprising the steps of:A. locating at least one trace feature of a first trace;B. generating and displaying in relation to the first trace at least one marker related to trace feature;C. labeling the at least one marker by displaying at least one label corresponding to the at least one located trace feature;and D. automatically labeling subsequent traces with corresponding subsequent labels as subsequent features are located.

    A method of marking time-series medical data comprising the steps of:A. displaying the time series medical data as a trace superimposed on a gridded background;B. accepting user input to locate a displayed trace feature;C. placing a first marker related to a displayed trace feature;D. labeling the placed first marker by displaying a label identifying the first marker;E. automatically labeling subsequent traces with corresponding labels as corresponding subsequent trace features are located;and F. accepting user input that indicates a type of electrocardiogram (ECG) sequence for which a feature is to be located.

    An apparatus for marking time-series medical comprising:A. an interface to a computer having a graphical user interface including a display;B. a controller configured to: 1) render on the display the medical time-series data as at least one trace embodying a set of trace features;2) locate a displayed medical trace feature;3) place a first marker related to the displayed medical trace feature;4) label the placed first marker by displaying a label identifying the placed first marker;and 5) automatically label subsequent medical traces with corresponding labels as corresponding trace features are located.

    An apparatus for marking time-series medical data comprising:A. an interface to a computer having a graphical user interface including a display;and B. a controller configured to: 1) display time series medical data as at least one trace embodying a set of trace features superimposed on a gridded background. 2) accept user input to locate a displayed medical trace feature;3) place a first marker related to the displayed medical trace feature;4) label the placed first marker by displaying a label identifying the placed first marker;5) automatically label subsequent medical traces with corresponding labels as corresponding subsequent features are located;and 6) accept user input that indicates a type of electrocardiogram (ECG) sequence for which a feature is to be located.
