A vending machine control system

A vending machine control system which includes a main module (1), a means of payment module (2), a user interface module (3), at least one extraction module (4) and at least one serial communications bus (6). The main module (1), the means of payment module (2), the user interface module (3) and the extraction module (4) are arranged so that, at least, the main module (1) can communicate with said means of payment module (2), user interface module (3) and extraction module (4) over said bus (6). The system includes means of modifying, at least, part of the programs of the microcontrollers of the main module (1), of the means of payment module (2), of the user interface module (3) and of the extraction module (4), over said bus (6).
