Change management

A change management system (2) for use in a store or service provider, accumulating amounts of change normally returned in cash transactions and totalling the amounts of change accumulated by each customer. When a customer's total amount exceeds a predetermined threshold, the customer is notified so that he or she can receive some or all of the total amount, either as cash or by transfer to a bank account (12), as well as an incentive bonus which rewards the customer for their continued custom. An ATM (13) on the store premises may serve to issue the cash and/or the bonus.
