Tuner with at least a first and a second frequency band
Abstract
The invention relates to a tuner having at least a first and a second frequency band and means for band switching between the frequency bands, the tuner having a signal input for supplying a frequency information signal. The invention is characterized in that the tuner comprises a band selection circuit which is provided for selecting and driving a respective frequency band and in that the tuner has a frequency search circuit for tuning to a frequency, which in a first step for checking the tunability of the frequency in the first Frequency band is provided and, if the tuning in the first frequency band is not possible, is provided in a second step to check the tunability of the frequency in the second frequency band.
