Abstract
A sheet treating apparatus for avoiding electrostatic charge accumulation discharges the sheet P, bearing an image thereon, onto discharge sheet stacking trays (200,201) provided on the side part of the main body, and receives the trailing end of the sheet by the side part of the main body, and is provided with a grounding member (216) for grounding the sheet by contact with the trailing end of the sheet.
