Mobile computer with audio interrupt system
Abstract
A body-worn, hands-free computer comprising a housing, power means (136), storage means (106), processor means (104), audio transducer and converter means, recognizing means (122), and a display means (116). The housing has means for attachment to a body of a user, and the audio transducer and converter means is in communication with the processor means for receiving audio commands from the user, the audio transducer and converter having means for converting audio commands into electrical signals. The recognizing means recognizes those of the electrical signals which represent commands to reduce power in the system and to power down the computer, and has means to send the electrical signals to the processor and other components of the computer to comply with the audio power down commands.
