Optical two-fibre ring network
Abstract
The 2-fiber ring network with multiple terminals (T1 to T4) consists of two unidirectional data rings. The connection between two terminals (T1 and T3) takes place in undisturbed operation via one ring each. In the event of a line fault protection channels are provided, each having the same wavelength as the previous working channels.
