Processor controlled system and method for operating a processor controlled system

Abstract

The system is controlled by a processor using a control program consisting of several functional program layers (LAYER1-LAYER4). Each layer offers services, whereby at least part of the services of a higher program layer are built on top of services of a lower layer. The program layers are asynchronously connected to each other in such a way that a request (REQ) received from a higher layer is first responded to by sending a confirmation (CONF) before the request is passed on to the next program layer. Each layer has an associated memory (DB1-DB4) containing program layer configuration data. An Independent claim is also included for a method of operating the system.

10 claims: 2 independent, 8 dependent

  1. 1
Method for operating a processor-controlled system (SYS) by means of a control program, which of several functional Program layers (LAYER1-4), wherein each program layer Services provides and at least a part of the service of a higher build program layer to the service of a lower channel layer characterized that a received from a higher layer program request (REQ) by sending back a confirmation (CONF) is answered before the Request is forwarded to a next lower program layer.
  2. 5
System (SYS), which by a processor by means of a control program is controlled, wherein the control program from a plurality of functional Program layers (LAYER1-4), and wherein each program layer Services provides and at least a part of the service of a higher Program layer to the service of a lower channel layer build, characterized that the program layers (LAYER1-4) are asynchronously interconnected, in such a way that a signal received from a higher layer program Request (REQ) only by sending back a confirmation (CONF) is answered before the request (REQ) to a next lower Program layer is passed.
