0001The present invention relates to a respiratory mask, the for ventilating a patient via the mouth and / or nose mountable.
0002Conventional respiratory masks, such as in Fig. 5a and 5b shown, generally consist of a mask portion 2, the to be vented through the nose and / or mouth of a Patient is brought, a breathing tube 4 to Providing respiration air and / or for the removal of exhaled air, and fasteners for 6 Attach the ventilation mask to the patient 2. The mask part 2 is by a corresponding contact pressure by the Fasteners 6 to the face shape of a patient in essentially adaptable. The breathing tube 4 opens, of Coming up in the mask part 2. The fastening means 6 consist of a first elastic fastener tape 8, which at the lower two corners 10 and 12 of the substantially triangular mask portion 2 is attached. The Fixing the tape 8 takes the mask part 2 by two Eyelets 14 and 16 at the corners 10 and 12 of the mask piece 2 are provided. To fix the upper corner 18 of the Mask portion 2 is a second elastic securing strap 20 provided that the breathing tube 4 partially wraps. The two straps 8 and 20 are tensioned each to the patient's head. Of the Breathing tube 4 as an alternative to shown Embodiment of the prior art also from below to the Respirator are introduced.
0003The face masks of the prior art, such as in Fig. 5a and 5b, in particular have the disadvantage that it is relatively difficult to attach to the head of a patient are because the two straps easily devour each other or twist when the mask on the patient's head is placed. This can especially cause problems when the Respirator must be quickly attached to the patient or the patient has head injuries. Another disadvantage is that by the arrangement of the upper Fastening tape of the breathing tube at the end of Patient is pushed so that pressure sores and may arise. Likewise, in the arrangement of the Respiratory tube down the risk of pressure or given sores as the chin of the patient. Further, disadvantageous that the fastening of the respirator with the Fastening tape on the ventilator tube is not ensured, that the mask part substantially to the shape of the face Patients will be adjusted, but it is rather the Possibility that the upper corner of the mask portion, for example, from Face the patient protrudes.
0004It is therefore the object of the present invention, a to provide improved ventilation mask available that especially easier handling, greater flexibility, more comfort and increased functionality guaranteed.
0005To achieve this object, the invention starts from the basic idea out that the respirator mask a base body, a breathing tube and a fastening means for comprises attaching the mask on a patient's head. The Fastening means comprises two each other via a connecting portion connected straps on. The first Fastening tape has at least one of its ends Eyelet in the mask base body provided hooks be hooked. The second fastening tape holds the mask body at least one further point, preferably the top of the mask main body by means of a Tape guide, the head of the patient.
0006To achieve this object, the invention is also of the Basic idea that a respirator mask body, a breathing tube and a fastener for securing the mask on a patient's head. The mask body is designed so that the breathing tube at least any two connection points is connected thereto, wherein the unused junction is closed by a closure member.
0007These two above solutions are independently claimed; but they may also in the invention be combined.
0008An advantage of the breathing mask according to the invention is particularly, that the mask is easy to handle, ie they can be easily attached to a patient's head, one hand by the attachment means simply top the patient's head to be pushed, and the lower mounting strip is hooked on the hook and on the other hand, by the breathing tube in accordance with the outer Circumstances be led in several directions from the patient can. A twisting of the straps is also largely suppressed. The arrangement of the upper attachment strip directly on the mask body are no unpleasant causes pressure or sores and simultaneously is better adapted to the facial structure of the patient's mask.
0009The invention will in the following with reference to a preferred Embodiment described by way of example. The painting show:

Fig. 1

a breathing mask according to the invention on Patients with supplied from below Breathing tube in front view;

FIG. 2

a side view of Fig. 1 with Angle mounted ventilation tube;

Fig. 3

a breathing mask according to the invention on Patients with supplied from top Breathing tube in front view;

Fig. 4

a side view of the respirator of Fig. 3; and

FIGS. 5a and 5b

a breathing mask of the prior art on Patients.

0010The respiratory mask according to the invention shown in the Figures 1 to 4 22 consists essentially of a mask body 24, a fastener 26 and a breathing tube 28. The mask body 24 is formed, that it over the nose and / or mouth to be vented a Patients may be placed, and preferably has a substantially triangular shape. At the bottom of Mask body 24 bilateral protrusions 30 are provided, to each of which a hook 32 is formed. Of the Mask body 24 has at the top of a slightly constricted portion on 34th The breathing tube 28 is the mask body 24 at least any two Pads 36 and 38, preferably from above or below, connectable. The connection point are not used, for example, the upper connection point in Figures 1 and 2 or the lower connection point 36 in Figures 3 and 4, is provided with a closure element 40 closed.
0011Through the arrangement of several connection points 36 and 38 the mask body 24 ensures that the breathing tube 28 according to the external circumstances or supplied the needs of the patient from any side can be. Thus, it is possible that the patient the respirator can keep on, even if for example in a transport, in the operating room or for any other reason the breathing tube are fed from a different direction have to be.
0012The attachment means 26 for securing the mask to the head of the patient comprises essentially an upper 42 and a lower fastening band 44, which through a connecting portion 46 are connected to each other. Of the Connecting portion 46 is located at approximately half the length the two straps 42 and 44, ie when a Patient ventilation mask 22 carries, is the Connecting portion 46 in the neck or back of the head of Patients. The upper fastening band 42 is preferably a continuous, elastic band that in its front Area a tape guide member 48 for fixing the Mask body 24. The tape guide 48 has two slots 50 through which the upper fastening strap is guided 42nd By the upper band 42 between the two slots 50 pulled out of the tape guide member 48 is, can the tapered portion 34 of the mask body 24 are passed through the thus created opening. When placing the mask, the upper fastening band 42 tensioned and the tapered section 34 of the Mask body 24 is in the tape guide clamped, so that the breathing mask 22 is fixed above.
0013In a preferred embodiment, the lower Fastening band 44 has two ends 52 and 54, on which each one preferably made of elastic material formed Eyelet 56 and 58 attached. To lower the position fixing Respirator 22, the eyelets 56 and 58 of the lower Fastening strip 44 to the hooks 32 of the mask body 24 mounted.
0014However, it is also possible for the lower fastening band 44 only one of its ends 52 or 54 with the Mask body 24 connectable to design, while the respective other end fixed to the mask body 24 connected is.
0015It is thus in a simple way that can be applied easily respirator 22 created, the well to the face shape is conformable patients. The inventive construction of the fastening means 26 is further provided a fast allows applying the respirator 22nd
0016The arrangement of the connection points below 36 or above 38, ensures that the ventilation air to be supplied with Patients regardless of the external circumstances, the breathing tube 28 supplied from different directions can be.
0017In addition to the elasticated straps previously described 42 and 44 can also fastening tapes, which in its be are length adjustable, used. It is also conceivable instead of the tape guide member 48 with the Slots 50, a hook and loop system (velcro) or provide other fasteners. Also for the Fixing the lower strip 44 are within the scope of Invention, other fastening systems fast to be connected suitable. As an example, here hook and loop systems (Velcro), Knöpf- or clamp connections called.
